No sound on my sony bravia with hdmi cables....?

Question

i've connected my sony bravia to my hd cable box with the hdmi cable and it looks just like they do in best buy. but the problem is there is no audio and i have no idea what the problem is. any help???

I  assume you are getting video so the TV is switched to the HDMI output and the cable box is outputting on the HDMI output.  I also assume you get sound from your TV using other sources.  I would first contact the cable company.  The box may be defective.
