No sound on psp pls hel

Question

here is my problem

i was playing gta vice city stories on psp, the volume was on and 20 mins past by, then all off a sudden the psp ran out of power...

i recharged it and started to play, then i noticed theres no sound wtf?????

the volume limit is on high. yet no sound?? BUT when i put earphones in i started to hear sound again, then i took it out but then no sound again...

pls help me :(

one way what u can try is have your headset when u turn on the psp after switching off. then once again try restarting without it. now u might have sound if your speakers arent dead. else am sure ur speakers or connection to it is dead. else try wit different UMDs. again one more is try updating the psp to a newer version. if u have a software problem which causes the sound off then that might fix it.

Try to take the battery out and put it back in.

that happend to my phone my advice turn it off then on if it still doesn't where the earphones or bring it in somewhere to get the sound fixed.
