No sound when making videos on PC from DCR-TRV350?

I have a Sony DCR-TRV350. I followed the manual to play back the vedio and record on my PC. The PC make it as a MPEG file. But when I play back the vedio file, there is no sound. Please help

  1. How did you transfer the video to your PC?  You should be transferring via firewire, which would create an AVI file not an MPEG.
