Question

I have never had trouble playing dvd's until yesterday. No sound when playing now, but sound works on everything else. I have a Dell notebook Windows Vista. I have defragmented and cleaned discs. Help!

No sound when playing dvd's I've played successfully before.but there is sound in vcd and computer
