Question:

No sound will come out of my iPod... how would I fix that?

and yes, the volume is up, and the ear plugs are plugged in...

  1. Buy a new one :-)

Well even though you think the ear phones are working you should still plug then into something else (say your computer speaker) just to see if sound will come out of them (some are just duds from the get go). If there is go to settings on your ipod, then to volume limit and check to make sure the little arrow isn't at the left side. If all else fails return it if it's still in it one year warranty.    

  3. Did you try changing the headphones? Because sometimes it is because the headphones are blown out. Or you can try going to the volume menu on the settings.

  4. You might have a short inside of your iPod rather than in your headphones. You'll have to get it fixed or replaced if that's the case.
