If you didn't get a title at the point of sale, you have been scammed.  That's why you never let money leave your hand without a clear title.  You may have a stolen car, or one that money is owed on with a repossession company looking for it.

Need Year make and Model and State you live in to answer correctly

Titles can be had for Pre 1975 cars easy... If its newer ?

Also what do you want to do with this car ?

Options ... Selling to a Salvage Dealer, Privite Lot Impound, and a few others I won't state here...
