  1. If you get your degree- and you'll student teach so you will get a little work experience.  Also it's were you apply- if you want to get in the best best school- it's hard but their are a lot of city and urban schools that are high in need of getting teachers.

  2. I guess it depends.  Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Education?  Did you complete student teaching to get experience?  Have you passed your licensing exams?  Do you interview well?

Even if you don't have any formal employment to add to your resume, you can list student teaching...it's a start.

  3. i don't know what your resume will look like

where i'm from schools are DYING for teachers, and i would presume that most rural areas are similar...i don't think that you'll have trouble finding work...besides, you will student teach before you graduate and THAT is some mighty fine hands on training

  4. If you have a license to teach, then they will hire you with NO paid experience. But think you'll walk in a classroom as a teacher without no teaching experience. You should have substitute taught, did a practicum, or  did student teaching before you apply to become a teacher.

  5. Well , I think in this life you do have to tell little white lies to get by. Before I got a job as a teacher, I had only worked in bars, nightclubs etc. I had also never been to school so I had no formal education. But now according to my CV I have 6 GCSEs and 4 A levels, and I was a private English teacher before I passed my teachers test. One night I was honest with my boss, and he didn't care (it was about a year later). But it didn't matter, because by then we knew each other well and he knew I am was intelligent and a good teacher. We're taught that lies are a terrible thing as we grow up, but I think they're fab!!! By the way, I'm 23.
