  1. it is true

  2. There were photographic pictures of Noah's Arc.

I doubt it is, because its in the religious text.

  3. hehe, i just saw that show from discovery channel last night.

  4. it depends if you are a believer or not.

  5. Consider this: If only one family of humans existed that would make for a really short gene pool-- same goes fr the animals. In just a few hundred years al life wuld die out due to serious inbreeding. So it is scientifically impossible for a single group of people and animals to repopulate the world...they'd simply die out from bad genetics no matter how good the genetics started out.

There might have been a flood and a guy with a boat...but they were not the only people to survive, obviously, and plenty of animals survived too. So the flood couldn't have covered the earth, just certain regions.

  6. Myth..your telling me that with no scientific knowledge he built a boat to put 2 of each animal on it (today with all the technology we have we don't even know all the species in the world) plus food & supplies & his family & after all that he told nabours friends etc...to come with him because there was going to be a flood for 40 days & 40 nights. Lambs sat next to Lions & the Lion didnt eat it lol..come on..

Definately a MYTH just like all the other fairy storys in the bible(dont get upset its just my opinion)

  7. TRUE! They found the ark, did they not? It's written in the Bible, so it's true.

  8. It's a myth. It's copied from a Sumerian tale about Utnapishtim who survives a world flood in a boat four times as big as Noah's Ark. I'm Catholic, and I study science in college. Scientists find no proof of a world flood and know there isn't enough water to submerge the tallest mountains. The Ark wasn't big enough to hold all animals. Many fish and plants would've been killed by a flood, but there is no evidence of that.

  9. Totally fake. Where in all of Palastine did an elderly man find Polar Bears and Penguins. Even if they did make it, they would die of over exposier or heat stroke. And the wreckage that they did find was just a fishing boat, look it up.

  10. The jury is still out on this one. BUT---- There is the the tales of Gilgamesh, which describes a great flood, A couple of American Indian tribes that have stories passed on by the elders that discuss a great flood. The Mayans and Incas both have as a part of their history a great flood, as do the ancient Egyptians. At the time this flood was to have happened none of these people knew of the others. Also in the Black Sea, Dr Robert Ballard found evidence of a village under the water and it was dated to approx that time period. Coincidence, maybe. But you can not discount it totally. More research needs to be done to either prove or disprove.

  11. Myth. Good story, but that's all it is. A story. I don't believe in a wrathful or vengeful higher power.
