Nocturnal corn snake?

Well, I've read almost all I can read about Corn Snakes. but at night, MAN does my snake go nuts! Much more active at night. Even if my room light is off, and his heat light is still on, he is still zipping around his tank. When its totally dark hes just as exploitative. Are they for sure nocturnal or is my snake just bored?

  1. I don't know if they are nocturnal, but you are certainly not alone. My snake Speedy is a male blood red stripe corn snake, and he is wild at night!! I think some snakes are just different, none of my other ones are that active at night..it's just him..

  2. A lot of snakes are nocturnal. Corn Snakes are nocturnal, at night they go around the tank trying to find a way to escape. That why it climbs everything at night.

  3. corn snakes are nocturnal

  4. Most snakes are nocturnal and your snake could be hungry getting and wants something to eat.

  5. yeah they are nocturnal.

if your tank/cage doesnt have a lot of interesting stuff he might be bored but its just cause hes nocturnal and if more active at night. corn snakes are simple snakes. only needing a hide, and water and bedding in their tank. so, yeah:P
