None of the other kids make that much noise and there is a playpark about 20 yards away.

  1. throw hot water on them--that'll teach them dam kids to behave like children.  sheesh.

  2. scare them.

  3. yeah say something to their parents.

or just go outside and tell them that if they dont be quiet the boogy man will eat them :)

  4. First, and best, thing you need to do is call the police. You probably have noise ordinances in your area and they are obviously not meeting them.

Noise levels that are acceptable on a city street may not be acceptable on a playground. Noise levels on a playground may not be acceptable in a housing area.

Don't get into a 'he said, she said' thing with a bunch of kids or their parents. Once it is on record it makes it much easier for the city to prosecute the second time.

  5. I had 3 young girls living next door to me for over 8 years (I became their 'adopted' grandpa).  They and their friends played between our houses, in their yard (and sometimes into mine), and in the street.  They have since moved and it's so quiet.

The kids behind me always had friends over playing in their yard.  My dog wanted so badly to get over there and play with them.  They've been gone to their grandparents all summer.  I miss the kids' noise.

Plus, if they're playing around the houses, they're not out someplace getting into trouble.

Ligthen up for crying out loud.  At least they're OUTSIDE and not sitting frying their brains playing violent video games about stealing cars and blasting people into millions of pieces.

You want NOISE? Try living under the flight path of U.S. Navy FA-18's (depending on the weather, they use this route to get to runway 5 north).  But I'd rather OUR jets be flying over than someone elses.

Oh, and I'M and old f**t.

  6. I think their kids even if you tell them to stop they won't. It's their neighborhood too. I have a similar problem though. I live right on the road. The noise is unbearably. for me I try to have the T.V, up louder than the cars, and I only read at night. I don't know, I think you should just let them be kids having fun.

  7. are you an old fogey that dont like kids???

shut your door, mind your business

  8. I think the kids need to be made aware that they're disturbing the neighbors. I'd give them a benefit of the doubt that they may not be aware especially no one has said anything to them. I'd approach them first and ask them to keep it down as you're studying for a very important exam. If they don't cooperate, I'd go to their parents and have a talk with them.

These kids are of the age (9–12) where they know right from wrong. When you talk with them in a civilized manner, they'll listen (hopefully). Good luck with everything!

  9. Just deal with it! Sure They're loud and obnoxious, and quite frankly annoying, but at least they ree outside getting exercise and not playing videogames and getting fat on the couch. If it really is that big of an issue I would just reccommend talking to their parents.  I really doubt that telling little kids to be quiet because you're studying will get the job done. Just politely talk to their parents. Hope this helped, :)

  10. have you tried the local councillor tell him ask the police to keep an eye out for them take notes and try a camera or camcorder , theres nothing worse of noisey people i have itbetween12 and 3 in the morning only these are drunk university student or couple arguing swearing or being lewed  or even clubbers taking a short cut ,also bloody foxes always after 3am good luck in your quest for peace and quiet
