Noisy neighbours?

My neighbours keep sitting in their car with the music full blast, its so loud i can even hear it in my house, is there anything i can do?

Call the cops =).  Or just casually go over and tell them to please keep it down.  Im sure they'll listen to you, and it's not like they'll hate you forever for wanting a little quiet.

Unless they seem dangerous, I would approach them first and ask them politely to keep their music volume down...if that doesn't work, file a complaint with the police.  I feel your pain, I hope things improve soon!

Contact your local CAB and discuss it with them. There are a number of things that you can do. Try and keep a diary of the nuisance, it will be useful as evidence.

You local council will be responsible for dealing with noise nuisance, you should try them as well.  If the noise isn't above prohibitted levels, it is still covered by anti-social behaviour legislation.

leave lots of bent screws and nails in the area, after 2 or more tyre changes at cost will deter them and they will move

on. dont forget to sweep the left overs up.

Ask them to stop. If they fail or shout abuse, take their car keys off them and throw them down the drain.

Find out what time the ordinance is in your town / city for noise. Most places it's 10pm - 11pm. Til then there's really nothing you can do!

If telling them the music is too loud doesn't work, then you may have to call the police, if they live that close then I'm sure you have a noise ordinance in your area.

CALL THE POLICE!!

In all likely hood all that will happen is that they will get a warning, but if a cop shows up most teenagers (and hopefully thier teenagers) will run with their tails between their legs.

After that the cop will likely issue a ticket, with the amount increasing each time.

When they just had to pay 500 dollars in fines and court appearances im sure that they will rethink their music volume

You can call the cops for disturbance of the peace.

Ask them to stop. If you're white, them black. Then dont bother asking them to stop, play your music as loud as them.
