Nokia Champions League T20: Royal Challengers Bangalore v Kolkata Knight Riders – Bangalore post 169 runs against Kolkata – Match Update
In the ongoing 2011/12 season of the Champions League T20, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a daunting tally of 169 runs while batting first against Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Thursday, September 29, 2011.

Dilshan was then the next man to walk back to the pavilion at a time when his side had posted 71 runs on the board. The batsman was dismissed by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rajat-Bhatia-c83456 after playing an innings of 18 runs off 21 deliveries.
The sight of Dilshan walking back was a cause of relief for Kolkata as they had removed a batsman capable of doing tremendous damage with the bat.
However, it was the blitz of an innings by Bangalore skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DL-Vettori-c1384 that captivated the fans as he smashed 44 runs off 23 deliveries after arriving on the wicket in the 12th over. Kolkata were taken aback by the batting onslaught unleashed
by Vettori as he smashed five boundaries and two sixes in his innings.
Vettori was then removed on the last delivery of the final over by Jaydev Unadkat as the team posted a massive total on the board.
Kolkata will now have to bat their hearts out to win the match against a formidable Bangalore bowling unit.
