Nokia VS Sony Ericsson for cellphones?

I'm looking for options between the Nokia 3600S, Sony Ericsson k770i and k810i.. any suggestions?thanx

I know nothing about the 770, so im not going to touch it.

but you cannot really compare the 3600 and 810. The 3600 is a smartphone, meaning you can install third party programs. The 810 has a proprietary operating system (written specifically for that phone).

but if you look past that at the quality of the phones,the 810 is very laggy, which is a problem. reception and call quality are about average.

SE phones are also known to be very fragile. overall its a decent phone.

Lately nokia s60 (symbian s60 is the operating system) phones have been plauged by quality control problems. (so its hard to say if this will be one of them).. bad reception is the main issue.

The 810 does have a much better camera then the 3600, so if that is in your top criteria of a phone, go for it. The 3600 has a better music player (can support more formats).

If it was me, id check out the 3600, and if i found it to have good reception/call quality, id keep it. If it was another s60 phone that turned out to be junk, id get the 810
