Question:

Nokia e71 or 3G IPhone?

This is a tough one. I am a Mac user, but at the same time, I have never used any other phone besides Nokia. It comes down to three things - A) the qwerty key board and B) the screen size and C) emails.

A) which qwerty key board is more user friendly. E71 is closely spaced, is that a big problem

B)E71 has smaller screen. but again, how will it affect, if, let's say, I am referring to photo stills for work?

C) email - which is easier, to access my gmail, my primary email for urgent work bits.

THANK YOU!

  1. the keyboard on the iphone is great. it is intuitive so even when you misspell a word it picks up on your typing patterns and fixes it for you. the screen quality is amazing for photos and it takes about 1 minute to set up your gmail account on the iphone. plus the 3g surfing speeds for the internet are amazing. the only thing you need to ask yourself are if you need a video camera which the iphone does not have. plus if you are a mac user apple has great options out there that go with the iphone........and great apps for the iphone.

  2. To start with the iPhone does not have a [real] keyboard.

E71, with E standing for enterprise, is the phone for an active business person and its mobile office (messaging, documents review) needs.

iPhone is just a toy, not even a good one (see the latest stories about the firmware updates and its bugs) bringing dependencies to the mobileme platform and most likely difficul to integrate in your company's IT landscape.

Nokia comes with flexibility and proven enterprise solutions.
