Nolan Roux not disappointed by Schalke 04 snub – Ligue 1 news
Stade Brestois striker, Nolan Roux has said that he is not disappointed or gutted after not being able to secure a move to German Bundesliga side Schalke 04.

While talking to the media, Roux dismissed the notion that he is still affected by the summer’s transfer saga and said that he is looking to have a great season with the club.
Roux also pointed out that his price tag was excessive. “No, it seems a lot to me. I am young. I know where I came from. Three years ago I did not even know if I should continue a pro career. At best, i was open to a move to Lens or Gueugnon. When Brest
came with a three-year contract, I jumped at the chance,” Roux said while talking about his transfer to his current club.
With Roux managing to score just six goals in 28 Ligue 1 appearances last season, Brest might not have a chance of selling the player for an excessive price if he fails to score regularly this season. A good striker he is, Roux has never been a prolific
striker and might never earn a good move if he does not changes his attitude or form or even both.
