However, Nola Roux is optimistic about his side’s chances this season and has backed Lille to get back to winning ways.
While talking to reporters, the former Brest player stated that things aren’t looking good for Les Dogues at the moment, but the season has just started and it’s a long way to go.
“In terms of points, we haven't been left behind even though there is a bit if a gap and that's what we've been missing."
Roux said that he loves playing as a central striker and playing in that position suits him. The player, who can also operate as a winger, added that he isn’t in the best of forms at the moment and that’s really frustrating for him.
The 24-year-old has managed to score only once in his last 10 Ligue 1 outings, something the player wants to change, and has vowed to score on a more regular basis.

Roux said that for a striker, it is important that he scores on a regular basis, and has promised to score more goals in the upcoming games.
"It's always important for a striker to score and goals often come in bursts. The first one is always tough to score, but hopefully it was a turning point."
LOSC Lille face Stade Rennais on September 28, in their next game of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 Championnat.
