I need a really good recipe and also a way to sore it? I have a report for my spanish class of puerto rico and I was thinking that a tropical drink would be fun so i was thinking pina coladas would be good. The major thing is storing it and how I would keep it at school for about 6 hours. Do I need to store it in the freezer or will it be as good in the fridge?

  1. You can buy frozen concentrate cans of Pina Coladas at the grocery story.  Just follow the directions, but substitute 7-Up or Sprite for the liquor .....You could make it up at school, and just throw some ice cubes into it there.....

  2. I would see if you could get one of those big drink coolers. It should keep pretty well. I don't think it will keep that well in the fridge, it will probably melt.

    Virgin Pina Colada

    INGREDIENTS

    1 cup ice

    1 1/4 cups pineapple juice

    1/2 cup milk

    1/2 cup heavy cream

    2 tablespoons white sugar

    DIRECTIONS

In an electric blender, blend ice, pineapple juice, milk, cream, and sugar. Blend

  3. There are jugs that you can buy that have a piece that attaches to the lid and keeps the drink cool. You just throw the detachable piece into the freezer and attach it when you are ready. Pina coladas don't have to be frozen, they are better when frozen, but I don't see how you could do that while you are at school. You may want to speak with your teacher to make sure that there would be no problems bringing it to school.
