Non Leather Shoes for Starbucks??

Hi!

I'm a vegan and I just got a job at Starbucks. The manager recommended I get leather shoes, because I'll be handling hot drinks, but of course I don't wear leather.

Does anyone know where I can get something non-leather that's comparable?

And hopefully cheap?

Go to a store and check the labels. I find that there are a good selection of shoes that are entirely manmade.

I dont know where to buy it, but pleather is a fake leather.

how about some of those "steal toe" tennis shoes...like the construction workers wear...i have seen them at walmart before

I imagine that there are serviceable substitutes but no plastic has been invented yet to equal leather for shoes.
