Non-Petroleum based printer toner?

Are there Non-Petroleum based toner (for laser printers)? I know InkJet printers have plenty.

  2. The only thing I can think of that might be used as a base for printer toner might be vegetable dyes. They are earth friendly and would bring no harm to people who have problems with the petroleum based ones. I'm guessing the cost would be more reasonable as well....Good Luck...Palin

  3. Yes, there are non-petroleum based toners for laser printers.  Contact any major supplier and give them your specifications.  They can present you with options.  Sales is their business and if they can find it, they'll sell you it.

    Buy soy or non-petroleum based inks. These printer inks are made from renewable resources, require fewer hazardous solvents, which translates to fewer air emissions, and in many cases produce brighter, cleaner colors.

  4. Unless you have a medical reason for dodging petroleum based substances, then don't worry about it.
