Non Political Newspapers? UK ONLY PLEASE?

Question

I know that many of the papers on sale today tend to favour certain political parties in the UK, but are there any that are truly independent and only reflect the facts of events that happen?

I'm asking this as I am not into politics, yet what ever I read is either attacking one party or another's failings...and not reporting the news as it should be.

Tell me if im wrong, but I personally don't think there are any non political newspapers.

They are ALL biased one way or another.  The most important thing is to remember that what you are reading is not neutral, and so don't take what you read as gospel truth.

The only politically independent journal is "Private Eye" - the editors just hate hypocrisy

they're all politically biased whether they admit it or not!  They all have their own agenda, best just to read a variety of them to get a balanced view. Same goes for TV news, which I think is worse!

The Guardian is fairly neutral but you need a football field to unfold it and its quite boring as well.

I just stick with the Sun, its cheap, fun to read and the crossword is easy.

No every paper has a particular bias.

There is no law requiring impartiality as there is on broadcasters. (No, I don't know how Sky gets away with it)

Left of Centre - Mirror, Guardian, possibly Independent.

Right of Centre (and in some cases right of national socialism)

- Sun, Star, Telegraph, Times, Express, Mail.....

I think the Guardian and Times are quite good. Unlike other papers, they don't tell you what to think, or 'invent' stories to further their political beliefs. I get the Times simply because it is physically easier to handle!
