  1. My 3.5 yro son attends an all day "special needs" classroom as he is autistic. Although ABA; Applied Behavioral Analysis, is used with some students, it is not with mine. We use the Floortime approach. I was specific about having it implemented in his IEP and met with the staff to clarify.

    So the school doesn't necessarily have to be "non ABA". Rather, you have the choice and right what therapies are written and not written into the student's IEP.
