  1. I agree that Lush cosmetics is a excellent company. Nearly all of their products are vegan (with the exception of a few items that contain beeswax.)

Another good company is Alba Bontanica. You can usually find their products in a grocery shop like Whole Foods or in some health food shops, and on Amazon.com

I believe PETA has long list of companies on their website that don't test on animals, they also have a list of companies that do test on animals. http://www.caringconsumer.com/

  2. I highly recommend using this amazing organic oil known as Argan oil. It has been popular in Israel and Morocco for years. It became really popular in Europe when models started using it, and is now found in all the spas and salons, I grew up in France and have been using it for years. It absorbs into the skin really quickly, faster than most creams and lotions. It works wonders for the skin, hair, nails, and skin ailments. It is all around the most beneficial and rarest organic skin care product on the planet. For some reason it only grows in Morocco. I found one website that has the best directions for all its different uses. I contacted them and they said they start selling in two weeks. You can register for a discount now and future promotions.

  3. Lush does have good products, but they do use parabens, so check the ingredient list.  I think their soap bars are free, but their shower gels are not (but they use minimal preservatives).

Check out Pangea Organics.  From what I can tell, they don't use parabens.

I know some vegan cosmetics, but you'll have to read the ingredient list to avoid the ingredients you're allergic to.

Zuzu Luxe is an all-vegan company.  Their stuff is sold at Pangea (www.veganstore.com, not related to the Organics company) and Vegan Essentials (www.veganessentials.com).  I recently discovered stuff by a company called Herbs of Grace, and they have vegan cosmetics that appear to be free of parabens as well.

    Good luck!

  4. Beauty Without Cruelty? Check it out.

  5. Lush are brillliant, they don't test on animals, and their products are natural and effective.

This link is to Lush's website. I use a super gentle cleanser called ''Angels On Bare Skin''. I know it sounds strange, but it's great & very soothing. It's free of methylparaben.

Lush do shampoo bars- that are methyparaben free, effective & they smell really good too.

    Hope this helps! =)
