Question:

Non-blooming Night Blooming Jasmine?

My friend has a 3+ year old night blooming jasmine that has yet to bloom. It's planted in an area that gets full sun for the morning/early afternoon & shaded for the rest of the day. She feeds it miracle grow every 4-6 weeks. The foliage has taken off -- growing very very well. There hasn't been one bloom on this plant. It gets watered once (maybe twice during extreme heat) per week.

It hasn't been pruned since planting.

Definitely too much N (nitrogen.) in the NPK

A high bloom formula that's heavy in Phosphorous and Potassium should bring on the blooms, but  there's really no reason to fertilize so often.
