Depending on your resources, you can organize a small sporting event.

You can make cute and fun colorful non alchoholic cocktails.

painting party... my friend does a ornament design party around xmas time every year...

you could have a luau theme party

there is a bunch of stuff at oriantal trading but that isnt how you spell it look it up at google... im doing it in the evening were i can turn on lights and stuff and we going to have spot lights on the pool. im going to have smokeys and hamburgers and meatballs and little things to snack on.

i will have drinks like pina coladas, margaritas, strawberry daqeriues, and orange puch, not to mention soda and all them will be virgin(non alcholic). i will have eprsonilized margarita glasses, glow in the dark necklaces, and glow in the dark martini glasses.and glow in the dark straws but im getting all the stuff from oriental trading that is the best place ohh yeah and im buying leis too but you should go there

Try a murder mystery party -- the guests are so consumed with the "plot" no one cares for drinking!! Play some great party games. Believe it or not, there are great games for "grown-ups" that are really fun and don't involve any alcohol.

A great one is where everyone gets a name tag at the door with the name of 1/2 of a celebrity (current or historical) couple on it. The name tag goes on the guest's back so they can't see it. They must then go around the party asking "yes" or "no" questions to try to find their other half (like Antony & Cleopatra, Brad & Angelina, etc.). Gets your guests talking to each other, mixing and mingling.
