Non- prescription colored contacts exam tomorrow.?

i'm getting an exam for non-prescribtion colored contacts tomorrow, when will i accually get the contacts? Like, will I get them tomorrow, or will I have to go back to get them?

  2. It depends on where you get them from.  They more than likely will have to order them for you.

    If this is your first time with contacts you will (or should) go through a trial period where you return to the store wearing the lenses and the optician checks them again.

  3. At our office, you would get a pair of trials first and I would show you how to insert and remove the lenses, care for them, and go over some do's and don'ts of lens wear. You would need to return in a week for the doctor to finalize the prescription. This is making sure the fit is stable, they are comfortable still, and that the prescription, or lack of, is still ok for you. Then the lenses would be ordered. It is important to go through this process so you are aware of proper contact lens wear and care. Not having a prescription in them does not make them any less important than prescription lenses. They are still resting directly on your eyes and if not properly fit, can cause many problems.
