Non-rhyming poetry. Is there a name for that style?

Is it seriously called non-rhyming? I think I just made that up. So, what is it called?

((Like, the poetry that Ellen Hopkins uses in her books.))

  1. Free verse is not only has no rhymes, but it dosn't have a regular rhythm either. If a poem doesn't rhyme but it's in iambic pentameter (5 beats per line) it's called blank verse.

    Idk why, but i have nevr really understood free verse, I need rhymn, and just, some sort of, beat, er, ya know what i mean? I just cant read free verse beautifully. I wish someone would teach me! and i cant write free verse either, its impossible! ahh!

  5. free verse it relies heavily on description and creativity  you need a good vocab to master this style with out having one unstructed stream of thoughts
