Question:

Non-traditional winter wedding sites/venues in CA Bay Area?

Does anyone know of any non-traditional indoor wedding sites or venues in the CA Bay Area? Community Centers would work. I'm looking to have my wedding of about 220-250 people, and I'm trying to do it inexpensively. The traditional sites provide the catering, and they are really expensive.

I have seen or read about outdoor summer venues that are non-traditional or less common (such as Mt. Madonna, or some park) but this in December, so it should be indoors.

  1. you could look into getting a party tent. that way your indoors and comfertable but still have the outdoors to set the mood.

  2. Do you mean South Bay or SF Bay?

If in South Bay, the City of Long Beach has lots of social halls that you can rent:

You might also check out the websites of surrounding cities to see if they have community halls available for private events.

I did my wedding inexpensively too, and it took me a lot of research =) Good luck with your & congratulations.
