  1. Yes.

  2. Yes it can ruin your credit. Any unpaid paid bill can ruin your credit. If you are not able to manage your bills you can go for bill consolidation. Bill consolidation loan is a type of personal loan where several credit card bills or any other bills can be consolidated into one lower, fixed rate loan. There you have to make a fixed monthly payment to your consolidators. This payment is then distributed among your various creditors by your consolidators. As it is more convenient to pay off one loan rather than paying all the bills individually.

Another way is bill debt management plan wherein your debt counselor would analyze your situation and based upon that they would provide you an affordable debt management plan.

Here is the source of a debt consolidation company named http://ezconsolidation.com for your reference.

  3. sure it can and usually quite quickly might I add

  4. If the collection agency reports your account to the credit bureau then yes it can cause your score to suffer.

Whether or not your credit score would be ruined depends on if you have any other adverse accounts that would weigh in to factoring your credit score.

  5. Non-payment of any debt impacts on your credit standing.  In order to preclude derogatory information from being reported to the credit bureaus you should make arrangements to make payments to get the bill paid current.

  6. Yes....you signed a contract and they will report it to the credit bureau on how long you've been late...30, 60, 90 days, etc.....
