my mother was born to a young woman on 5/11/1962 at jess parrish hospital (old location) phyllis mullins now known as joyce adopted her through the court and dr. smith it was a closed adoption! my mother since has passed away of cancer and myself i have two children and would like to know of any information anyone would have!!! thank you

If you amend your question to indicate which State your mother was born and adopted in I can give a more specific answer since the search process is different state to state and hopefully you are fortunate enough to live in an open records State, which will make things a little easier for you to search for your mother's, your own and your childrens' roots.
