I just walked in on my 16 month old eating her own p**p...I put her in the tub and while she was in the tub she pooped again and guess what..she ate it again. I am really concerned. Is this normal?? She also bangs her head on the floor repeatedly and makes a whining noise while doing it...Sometimes she does that when she's tired but she also does it just out of the blue.I know there is some kind of mental illness that has some of these characteristics but I dont know which one...Should I take my child to a specialist??? Someone with honest answers PLEASE help me. I dont know what to do. Thanks.

  1. You left your 16 month old in the tub alone?  If not, why did you even allow her to go there?  You need to see someone, a doctor or specialist would do

  2. I have an autistic relative and one of the things he does is bangs his head against the floor and the wall. I don't think the p**p thing is as alarming because babies/toddlers will put anything in their mouths, but it concerns me about the head banging. I would take her to the ped. and let them refer you if necessary.

  3. ewwwww well kids do things like that they will even eat dog p**p. Its nothing medical. they seem to play in there own p**p even in there beds like rubbing it on walls ans such
