Normal bloody test but sugar in my water what could it be?

ive had a blood test done and my blood sugar levels came back normal but when my gp checked my urine sample it had very high sugar levels he sed this could be some kind of renal threshold problem caused by chemotherapy i had a couple of yrs ago he has now sent me for another blood test(non fasting)this time to double check for diabetes again i have a 7 month old son and constantly had sugar in my water with him but they didnt know why. could it still be diabetes, and if not what else cud it be nd how wud it be sorted

    The sugar-water hemolysis test is a blood test to detect fragile red blood cells by testing their ability to withstand swelling in a low-salt solution.

    How the Test is Performed

    Blood is drawn from a vein, usually on the inside of the elbow or the back of the hand. The puncture site is cleaned with antiseptic. An elastic band is placed around the upper arm to apply pressure and restrict blood flow through the vein. This causes veins below the band to swell with blood.
