Im 16 and have never been to a party or gotten laid or gotten arrested or had anything happen to me that was real special, you know the kind of thing you can talk about years later that was just so much fun.

I always hear other kids talking about the crazy night they had getting drunk or how later their going to go to some party or something and im real jealous, I have never been invited to any 'real' parties in my life. Im kind of on the outside of the 'cool loop' if you know what I mean.

I have friends but not a whole lot, I want to start partying and stuff. I play sports. I feel like iv missed alot of time already going into the 11th grade. What do you all think, am I over thinking life? I dont want to look back 10 years from now and think d**n I wish I had a little more fun as a kid. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  1. dude im a senior in hs and i havent done any of that stuff, dont let those s***w-ups influence u. have fun with ur friends, dont change who u are or who u want to be.  besides think about it u can over think life but u cant over life life. ill admit it im a nerd, i read comics, put computers together, and love star wars. be who u are

  2. you don't need to be getting "laid" or arrested at your age. You should be glad your not an idiot like everyone else. But it seems your peers are starting to have an influence on you. Love yourself.

  3. Most teens don't have fun 'till college. Just look forward to that.

  4. You don't have to be in the 'cool loop' to go to parties. Sure it's nice to be invited, but you have to start somewhere. Maybe you or one of your friends could have a party and invite a whole bunch of people from all types of groups.

You and your friends could go to an open house party where no invite is needed, make some new friends while your there. Maybe you might befriend someone in the 'cool loop' and you will get invited to tons of parties.

It isn't something worth being concerned over. You still have the whole clubbing scene to experience yet.

Nothing is stopping you from making more friends.

    Good luck!
