Normal to gain some weight the first few weeks of intense running and working out?

Im eating about the same I used to before we started this.

Could it be that im putting on muscle?

  1. Same thing happened to me, you will gain weight before losing it sometimes. Especially if you are working out, your metabolism has speed up yet and if you keep up this routine you will burn off the fat and build muscle. You will lose weight, but you will lose alot more inches.


  2. You're probably just gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat so you might find out you weigh even more than you did before, but don't be ashamed of it. Just keep up your workout and you'll be fine.

  4. it is most definitely muscle gain don't worry about it.....your muscle is building and replaceing the fat and muscle weighs more than fat so thats were it comes from.  

  5. Yes it's normal its all muscle. I went from 129-135 when running season came away.
