Normandy beach??????

if you went to anyone of the beaches that the allies landed on and you had a medal detector could you still find artillery shells or bullets?

parts of the beach is  under the government laws you can not use a medal detector on the beach there are still boats and  even tanks with humans still inside of them that did not make it on to the beach  out in the ocean lots of history is there  so  if you do find anything  you would have to turn it in to the police there   i go many times there sense i live  in Versailles it  about  two to three hour drive

You'd have to go out in the shores to find it.  They probably cleaned up the mess.

I doubt you'd find anything.  It's been so many years since the war, and others have probably combed that area.
