My car broke down and I start a new job tomorrow. I have to be to work by 3pm. I'm coming from Magnolia BLVD in North Hollywood to Santa Monica BLVD in West Hollywood. How would I get there? Is there anyway I can get back once I get off at night?

  1. Mapquest or a GPA system bro. Simple answer for something you just had to figure out yourself :\.

  2. well you dont really say where on magnolia you are starting from

now I'll ask you a question first are you close to

    Laurel canyon and Ventura?

(if you are you can take a direct bus from Laurel canyon and Ventura to

Santa Monica and Crescent heights (which is in West Hollywood)

by taking the Metro 218 bus

    http://metro.net/riding_metro/bus_overvi...

now what time do you get off from work (is it after 8:45pm?

(if its after this time you could take the metro 4 to Sunset and Santa Monica the the Red Line to North hollywood station and there perhaps

the orange line but since never said where on magolina you started

from thats the best I can do

note the 218 bus is a smaller bus (its not  a regular size bus

but I think its called a cutway so dont expect a big bus)

  3. Take the Red Line to the Santa Monica/Vermont station and take the 704 or the 4 down Santa Monica Blvd.

  4. Three letters: MTA.

You can get 24/7 info on the phone and online. Good luck on the job. Don't get off on the wrong foot by being late.

  5. Go to yahoo maps and type in your starting point to and from back to starting point destinations (addresses). Don't foget to print the directions out.

  6. Go to mta.net and put in your starting and ending addresses and it will tell you what subway/bus to take.

  7. Take the public transportation or ask a friend for a ride. At the very least if the bus isn't running late you could probably call for a cab.

  8. North Hollywood subway station on Lankershim. Take the RED LINE subway to Hollywood & Highland (only 2 exits). Then hop either a bus or cab the rest of the way.

Coming back...last train runs at 11:55 (leaving from Union Station).
