Okay so im confused

I thought that North Korea had total Internet and television censorship but i was browsing through Myspace and you can browse Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea (North Korea) for profiles of which there were loads.

How come a medium like myspace is allowed there when documentary film makers are heavily censored.

  1. It is that some people are "more" equal than other people in the socialist workers "paradise" of North Korea.

  2. North Korea has extremely limited internet access. It is limited to government officials and the military. There is an internet cafe (open only really for Westerners visiting the country) but this is strongly monitored by the government.

I wouldnt be suprised if this was used to create Myspace profiles but content would be strictly monitored. Unless there was some kind of underground net link. In which case it wouldn't be a good idea to have a profile if you want to live long!
