Question:

North London - Accomodation for a couple of weeks?

My husband and I (we are in our forties) are planning stay in England for about three four weeks in December, of those around two in London. We are really not interested in finding a place right in the centre, but we'd rather stay in North London as we really enjoy the atmosphere of places like Hampstead or Highgate. We're not rich at all, though, and we contacted staying in a hotel for the whole period. Is there anyone who lives in that area that can suggest a solution? Do you know anyone looking for someone reliable to offer an accommodation for a reasonable rent? Any idea is welcome! Thank you in advance

  1. Check out this website, it has good cheap london places to stay.

  2. You can find cheaper rooms for rent in eastern london in places like eastham starting from 40pounds/person/week approx + If you want to find any cheaper hotels in london at a particular time to stay in central london or anywhere check this http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/Cit...

  3. You might look into renting a flat; there are companies that do this and the flats are not only in Central London.  You could come and go as you please.  Or, you might consider using a service that can put you into a family home, which offers considerable savings.  Best way to find these is to Google 'london holiday flats' or 'london family stay'.

I lived in England for 10 years and didn't want to stay in a hotel when I go back next month, plus I didn't want to pay upwards of 300 GBP a night!  I'm staying in a lovely family home in Essex for a week for less than the cost of one night!
