I live in North Newark, close to Bloomfield Ave and near downtown. Generally I will order from Mr. Dino's Pizzeria in Bloomfield (I used to work there, and they do have very good food) but I'd like a little variety in my life. There aren't too many other good places for sandwiches, calzones and Italian dishes (this place is not fancy, basically just a pizzeria inside; but they do make a veal franchese that I think is excellent) Chinese food has become tired as I've been ordering it for years, and there's not too much out here to work with. Frank's Pizzeria in Newark is excellent (as far as pizza and some other dishes go, i was disappointed by the chicken franchese) but they are ridiculously overpriced, not to mention include a $2.50 delivery charge! Absurd! Any type of food is fine. Please, anyone who has a favorite spot with good food, fast service and good prices, please share this with me, so that I may treat my tastebuds to something they're not used to.
