I think I've covered this in the header, but to put it in context,I'm speaking as a spectator here, never having had the bike or the ..erm, let's say nerve, shall we?... to race. I'm going to the North West 200 for the first time, having spent the last 20 years going to the Manx races and never having gotten around to checking out the Irish scene.
I hope to be staying in Port Rush, and shall be on foot, or on public transport
Advice required, please,e.g. best places to watch, things to do on pre-race days, essential equipment (radio? binoculars?) where to eat, drink, fall over - all that sort of thing.
