  1. Bit of a long journey by public transport.

    1. Bus or train from North Berwick to Edinburgh Waverley (not sure about bus although probably provided by First Bus or Lothian Buses but train takes about half an hour.

    2. Train from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen St. OR Citylink bus service 800 every 10 minutes from Edinburgh bus station (near Waverley train station - just ask someone to point you in right direction) to Glasgow Buchanan St bus station.

    3. If you have travelled by bus to Glasgow you can catch a bus to Ardrossan from stance 2 or 3 I think in the same bus station - bus X36 operated by Stagecoach. When you get off in Ardrossan Princes St (ask the driver to tell you when to get off), you walk round the corner and it's about 10 minutes walk to the ferry.

    4. If you have arrived in Glasgow by train, you can either walk up to Buchanan bus station (quite near Queens St station and is signposted) and then take the bus to Ardrossan as above. OR

    5. You can get a little bus from Queens St Railway Station to Glasgow Central - it runs from outside the station and then get a train to either Ardrossan Harbour (not many of these but they do take you right to the ferry) or to Ardrossan Town - about 10 minutes from the ferry or to Largs getting off at Ardrossan South Beach. If you get off at Ardrossan South Beach you can get a Stagecoach number 11 or 12 bus to Ardrossan Princes Street and walk to the ferry as above.

  2. wtf? are you mad fool?! u r mad. i pitty the fool that tries to sail from north berwick to adrossan!

  3. That is a question. If you are trying to ask, how do you make that journey, I would recommend taking a train.

  4. Get the train, bus or car.

  5. what about it - you would need to go all the way up the east coast and down the west coast. There is a ferry from Edinburgh to fife or ardrossan to millport etc.

  6. What do you mean?  North Berwick and Ardrossan are on completely opposite sides of the country.

  7. Please see the map of Scotland and rephrase

    your dud question.

There is no such ferry Berwick to Ardrossan.

  8. By road its about 105 miles and should take 2hrs 30mins

By rail, you need to change at Edinburgh and Glasgow and journey time is 3hrs+

I wouldn't even think about the bus, you'll need to change at Edinburgh and Glasgow, much quicker by train or car.
