  1. Depends on what part of North Carolina. I grew up in Charlotte NC, and when I visited I was in complete shock because they have built up sooooo much there. They have even torn down the "projects" and turned it into condo's. It is a great place to live, but like anywhere it is all about making the right connections.

  2. North Carolina, New Jersey is the murder capital of the USA

  3. I lived in NC, my parents lived there too, I dont now right now, but when I lived there, there were tons of administrative jobs, and cleaning. My mom worked as a psycologist and my dad as a mechanich, and they were full of work, Life is wonderfull there, I miss it, I lived in Charlotte btw

  4. i live in NC, and there are unlimited supplies of jobs. there are help wanted signs in a number of places, and lots of office jobs to. There housing market here is pretty good for buying. it is very peaceful with lots of malls and things to do

  5. NC is a beautiful state, I love it. You don't have to deal with a lot of snow, (I love snow), in summer the weather is hot and the winters can be mild. As for jobs, it depends a lot on what you are looking for.Factory work is almost closed down. We have business collages that offer many courses. Come and see if you like it here. Maybe you will choose to stay.

  6. I currently live in Charlotte NC, it is a growing city with a lot of opportunities, also the housing market is great you can buy a house now, in certain areas, and have the value double in five years, not to mention it is a lovely city

  7. Life here in NC is GREAT!!As for jobs, that all depends on what your good at.Definetly move here instead of NJ!!

  8. Both suck. Move to Nebraska. Lots of corn that needs picked.

  9. OK in my opinion Jersey is too big and has too much crime. i have no idea what NC is like but it sounds better if it has some forests. however this might just be because i have lived in Missouri in a town smaller than Clark all my life and the last time i went to visit family in NY someone stole my money .

  10. i live in NC itz cool  liven in charlotte or mecklanburg but i think you should move to NC

  11. well I am from NJ and now live in VA and have been to NC many times (have friends that live there)

Do you like the heat and humidity? if so then NC over NJ

NJ and NC are so much the same. they have lots of farm land and still you dont have to live in the sticks, there is city life close enough too. I lived in northern NJ just out of NYC and I miss it! The food is awesome, NYC is the best city in the world, but its not for everyone. I live in richmond and feel stuck here.... I also would never move more south. I hate the heat and humidity here, gl to ya!

Oh and that thing about NJ being the murder capitol of the counrty.... its not the state just Camden NJ, thats out side of Pili, just go north and it is not back at all...

  12. I'm originally from NY moved to TX and now live in NC.

It all depends on your perspective.

Being from NY I always thought NC was ultra hot.

Then I moved to Houston, TX.

Compared to Houston NC is a walk in the park as far as hot and humid.

I really do like it here.

Weather is moderate all year long (I'd like a bit more snow but hey you can't have everything).

As far as jobs go it really depends on where in NC you decide to move and just like anywhere if you move to a larger city you generally have a better chance of finding a job you're interested in.

That being said the place you move and how much you like it has more to do with you and what you make of it than the actual place you move to.

    Hope that helps a little.

  13. Need to know more infor like where in NJ are u thinking of moving to and what type of jobs are you interested in.

  14. i live in nc there is alot of jobs here gas is high but its high everywhere my friend just moved from cal to here and they love it to just don't move to durham

  15. ...

  16. i currently live in jersey right now and the expense of living is just way to much and job finding takes a good 3-4 months. You are better of in NC because it one of the cheapest places to live and there are many job opportunities

  17. I live in NC, hehe it's currently raining we have been waiting for this for a long time. It's an amazing place to live dependant on what part you want to move to Asheville is fun and very friendly raliegh is exciting, madison is the boring part i personally think, and belhaven is beachy and enjoyable!! You should deff. consider moving here!!

  18. NC is the state to move to right now jobs are everywhere and it is a beautiful state...... why would anyone want to move to NJ way to many crimes my husband calls it the arm pit of the world

  19. Both have nice beaches, but housing is cheaper in North Carolina. Of course you get paid less, there, too, depending on what it is you do (or plan to do). Jersey's more densely populated - lot's of big cities nearby, NYC, Philly -if you like the urban thing -and there's the gambling. There are probably more employment opportunities in NJ just because there's more industrial activity. Lot's of maintenance work, too on all those old roads and bridges. Jersey's big on horticulture, too.

NC has mountains if you like the outdoors thing. Also cities like Raleigh have a growing tech sector. The pace of life is generally slower.

    Good luck.

  20. u should so move to North Carolina because it is extremely beautiful and there are alot of jobs there. If you like unc you might get to meet some of the players like tyler hansbrough. It is a wonderful area.
