My grandad has offered to take me and my mother for a day out and we were going to go to the Metro centre couple of questions:

Does a train run from Darlington to Metro centre ?

What leisure is there?

Should I invite 1 or 2 of my best friends?

should I also ask t go to flamingo land ?

yes there is a train for there to the metro and there is loads too do there from good/great like bowling cinema to not so great like loads of shops and i would lake the two best friends and flamingo land is really worth it. its a great day out

As a former Quaker, I can't see how there would not be transport to anywhere in the Universe from Darlo! Lol! If I remember rightly, you will have to catch a train into Newcastle from Darlo, then the Metro out to the Metro Centre. I believe it is very easy.

As for leisure, look at their website, (www.metrocentre-gateshead.co.uk) to see if there is anything which interests you. And also remember, it is Summer, so it will rain like billyo and soak you at Flamingo Land; the centre is indoors Lol!

There is no direct train from Darlington to MetroCentre. You need to change in Newcastle to another train. There are a lot of shops, and restaurants/cafes at the MetroCentre, and also a Cinema. The indoor theme park, Metroland, has just closed though. There is No direct bus from Darlington, you'd need to change at Durham AND Gateshead.
