North pond, chicago?

Question

have any of you guys ever been to north pond in chicago? if you have can you please tell me your oppinions, and if not then i would like to know what you have heard about it. It seems really interesting but im not sure about the food. Thank you

It's a very romantic setting, and the pond is beautiful.  The food is quite good, though I wasn't as taken with the service on my second visit as opposed to my first.

Agreed, it's a wonderful place...food (local, seasonal) and atmosphere (Arts & Crafts).  It's also well-regarded on boards like Chowhound.  See some entries at:
