Northampton Saints sign up James Craig and Cesar Sempere
James Craig the lock and Cesar Sempere the full back will be joining the Northampton Saints in the current season.
Saints have got them both signed in their club, as the season goes on with its full flow and volume.
Cesar Sempere, the 27-year-old full back will be going Franklin’s Garden from Nottingham. Spaniard has affirmed that he is savouring his probability to appear for his side at the top level of rugby.
Sempere said, “For me the Saints is one of the best teams in the Premiership. It is a great opportunity for me to show what I can do. I like to play with the ball in hand from everywhere, which is why I'm looking forward to playing in a team like Northampton.
I enjoyed the game last August and the stadium seemed like a good place to play.”
Talking about the Nottingham experience he added, “Nottingham has been a good place to play and the club has good coaches and people there. It was my first experience in England and they made me feel very welcome.”
Sempere believes the chance from Northampton was too superb to refuse and now he’s looking forward to show up there for his side next season as well.
On the other hand, Craig, an English player of the age group level has joined the Northampton Saints after leaving Leeds Carnegie. Craig was opted for Leeds through a youth rugby academy and now making his way to a better club. Craig will be leaving his
Leeds outfit and depart Yorkshire to make move up in his rugby career. He expressed that he has a heavy heart at the moment and will be missing his rugby birthplace.
He said, “There are obviously a lot of people at Leeds who have helped me with my career and I owe them a lot of thanks.”
Craig told that his focus is now all set on Northampton Saints and his future over there is dependent on his current credibility and constant growth as a player. Craig is already good friends with Scott Armstrong and Calum Clark, who play for Saints and
is expected to make a good start for the club.
