On Saturday, June 23, in the ongoing Friends Life T20 tournament in the English county, Worcestershire after bolstering an innings of 142 runs in 20 overs while batting first, won the match against Northamptonshire as they successfully restricted the opposition on a total of 128 runs to win the match at County Ground, Northampton.
After losing the toss, Northamptonshire were made to field and their bowlers did not give a commendable show as after grabbing a few early wickets, they were neutralized in the middle by PJ Hughes (52) and JG Cameron (57), as the two batsmen tilted the game back on their side after losing the openers quite cheaply.
