Northeast Canoe?

Question

I have a friend that will sell me a Northeast canoe he purchased from ***** a year or two ago. He paid $650 for it and will sell it for $350. It has only been in the water 3 times and once i was in it. Is this a good buy/canoe? ( it has three seats with a small compartment in the middle )

Whoa... What kind of canoeing are you going to do? Will this canoe suffice? Why is it for sale? Decide or learn what kind of a canoe you want: solo, tandem, touring or whitewater, aluminum, fiberlass/resin, kevlar or maybe plastic.  Go slow....
