Northeastern U.S. secede?

Question

Who else thinks that the northeast should secede to become a sovereign nation? This way we would not have to be associated with the South's general reputation for religious intolerance nor have to deal with rightwing, idiotic presidents like George Bush. Clearly the South, Northeast, Pacific, and Midwest are culturally different and have different political ideals. Anyone have any ideas for these new nations? I think the North should get New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the 6 New England States, and possibly Delaware and Maryland.

Umm that's why the US is called a melting pot babe. Because we have different regions, different cultures, societies, religions, political views, ect. It's all of that under one Constitution. We elect who we want. Not always who we need and vice versa. We are a nation of everything and "seceding" would just cause another chaotic war and do you REALLY want to do that? Seeing as a majority of the US military is NOT from the northeast? Hmm.. I think we should stay under one nation under one Constitution. I think that we have different variations of english (accents) and different views politically and such because that's the spice to our melting pot. I also think that you should just live and stop worrying about "seceding from the nation" because you don't like the south. Just stay in the north hun.
