Northern California Volleyball clubs?

K,I Live in Red bluff california area and In looking for volleyball clubs in my area and well Iv'e herd about shasta volleyball and my friend did that club last year and her mom didn't like it.so if there's any volleyball clubs u can tell me about .plz give me the web site adress

I'm currently living and coaching in North Bay... a few hours south of what you call home but North Ca none-the-less.

Where I live there's Empire, Golden Bears, River West, Absolute, Sonoma West and tons of others. Farther up in Shasta, my recommendation for you. Try out clubs then make a decision. Maybe you want to try-out for a few clubs and see which ones you make... from there see which coaches you feel you can learn from, and then see which organization has the philosophy you want.

Examples:

Empire where I live is purely competitive, you pay to win not to play.

Sonoma West is the opposite, you pay to learn and to play, not to win.

Which works better for you? which is in your price range. Talk to your MS and HS coaches, ask the girls that played for Shasta what other clubs there are. Go to the website www.NCVA.org and see if there are listings for clubs there.

Though I do believe that as of this season, you may be a little too late to join a team. Maybe your area is a little more leniant on allowing late members to join but our teams here are set and finalized, and we won't accept new players now.
