Northern Districts, Otago match headed towards a draw: Plunket Shield
The Plunket Shield match between Northern Districts and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Otago-c829 at Seddon Park in Hamilton seems to be headed towards a draw after the first two days of play. At the close of the second day’s play, the hosts were 213 for the loss of just two wickets. However,
they still trail Otago by 176 runs.

The pair started day-two with confidence and extended their partnership to 72 runs before Butler got out. The tall fast bowler provided some good support to de Boorder, as he played a crucial innings of 33 runs with the help of six fours.
The tail-enders failed to offer much resistance, but de Boorder batted brilliantly. He scored an unbeaten 119 runs before he ran out of partners from the other end. The keeper batsman struck 19 fours and one massive six in his valiant ton.
