  1. It's o.k. they're sorting it out a bit now. There are a lot of protestants in Northern Ireland that actualy want to be part of Britain so don't be too upset. At least they've stopped bombing each other for the most part and seem to be coming to some sort of agreement about how to run the place.

  2. Your tears mingle with the tears shed over this for centuries.

However anger will not solve anything.  BTW some people believe this to be a religious issue.  It is not.

Northern Ireland is where the English began there invasion of Ireland.

It was their intent to conquer and control Ireland as they did India and so many other countries, during the Golden Days of the English Empire.

Ben Franklin, while visiting Ireland, over heard a English Lord make the statement that America was to share the same fate as Ireland.  Which meant the English meant to rule with a heavy hand. We know how that story ended.

The only religious part of the conflict between Northern Ireland and the rest of Ireland is that traditionally the English were Protestant and the Irish were mostly Catholic.  The fight was not over religion though, it was over cruel Lords using the people of Ireland for their own gain.

Tears give way to anger, anger gives way to determination, determination brings about change.  It has changed.

    a daughter of Ireland

  3. Religion !!...the Protestants there do not want to be run by Catholics

  4. Northern Ireland wants to be part of England.  They are Protestant and do not want to be part of the Catholic South.

  5. Well I suppose the minority can go around blowing up innocent civilians if they don't like it oh wait they already tried that.
